Today, the Pakistani police have arrested a number of Afghan immigrants and transferred them to an unknown place.  Among them, at least one person is a member of ISSUP and DDR.  The situation of all immigrants and especially former employees of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is worrying.  Officials, civil and human rights activists should react to this issue.

Why addicts should be treated for treatment

1- Because drug use creates physical and psychological dependence and despite the constant desire to quit, it is difficult to decide to quit.

2- It creates family and social support and makes the person alone, so the person needs help.

3- Hanging out with friends and drug addicts makes a person continue to use drugs.

4- A person addicted to common substances is hopeless about the possibility of recovery and pessimistic about treatment.

The therapeutic relationship consists of three basic parts:

 1) agreement between the clinician and client on the goals of counseling

  2) agreement about how the goals may best be obtained, and

  3) the emotional bond that forms between the clinician and the client

Agreement and Goals,Clients & Counsellor:

Agreement on the goals, how the goal will be achieved, and the emotional bond all contribute to strengthening the alliance between the clinician and the client. In turn, the strength of the alliance between the clinician and the client facilitates agreement on the goals and how best to achieve them. Both the clinician and the client must be genuine, that is, they must be willing to be open, honest, and authentic with each other.

Client Self Confidence:

Only when clients experience a sense of hope for change and a belief that the clinician truly understands and supports them are they ready to engage in the difficult tasks of self-exploration and behavioral change .

The basic stages of counseling are:

 1) Developing the client

2) Clinician relationship

 Clarifying and assessing the presenting problem.

3) SituationIdentifying and setting counseling or treatment goals

 4) Designing and implementing interventions; and 

5) Planning, termination, and follow-up.
