The Canadian Community Epidemiology Network on Drug Use (CCENDU) is a pan-Canadian network of community partners co-ordinated by the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction (CCSA). Entre os países europeus, a França está particularmente preocupada com o tabagismo adolescente, especialmente em contextos socioeconómicos desfavorecidos (SES). Foram mensuradas as respectivas contribuições do tabagismo parental e dos arranjos de vida familiar para as disparidades sociais no tabagismo durante a adolescência.

Um total de 13.314 adolescentes responderam a um questionário de papel e caneta sobre o próprio consumo de tabaco e o tabagismo de seus pais.
