Ruzmayuddin Mamat, a pharmacist and academic, specializes in addiction medicine with a focus on methamphetamine-related research. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) from the International Islamic University Malaysia and a Master of Science (Pharmacy & Addiction Science) from Universiti Sains Malaysia.

Having submitted his PhD work in genomic and metabolomic studies at the University of Malaya, he is now awaiting his viva voce. His research explores genetic variations and metabolic markers linked to Amphetamine-Type Stimulant (ATS) dependence. Ruzmayuddin has contributed to substance use treatment programs, including methadone maintenance, and has conducted lectures on harm reduction and addiction management.

His publications cover ATS prevalence, methadone outcomes, and medication safety. With expertise in addiction science and clinical practice, he is dedicated to advancing evidence-based interventions in addiction medicine to improve outcomes in pharmacy and public health.
