Dr. Hendrée Jones is a licensed psychologist and internationally recognized expert in behavioral and pharmacologic treatments for pregnant women and their children in high-risk situations.

Ranked by Expertscape as the world’s leading expert in neonatal abstinence syndrome (2021), she has received continuous NIH funding since 1994 and authored over 200 peer-reviewed publications and two books on substance use treatment

Dr. Jones has contributed to global and national guidelines, including those by WHO, SAMHSA, ASAM, and the UN. She also co-authored the UN International Standards for the Treatment of Drug Use Disorders and helped develop and train nine Universal Treatment Curricula for the Colombo Plan. In 2020, she received ASAM’s Distinguished Scientist Award and continues to serve as a consultant to the UN, WHO, and the NIH HEAL initiative.
